My name is Cori and I'm 23, my home base in Missouri. I like things and such. I usually post whatever I feel like, but it's generally fandom related.

I've been cosplaying for 9 years, and attend local-ish midwest cons. Usually recognized from past cons when cosplaying Abby Sciuto from NCIS or Vexen from Kingdom Hearts.

I can't think of anything else to fill in, so there yah go. Follow if you like, don't if you dislike. :3

I love this toss so much. And it’s actually really easy to do.
You lay the silk flat on the ground and put the (in this case paper/glitter) on the silk near the pole. Then roll it up until it’s all covered by the rolled part.
When you toss the silk will unroll and release what you put in it at the peak of the toss.

wat

things go in flag, roll flag like burrito, clench tight until you toss, burrito goes poof, things rain down, pretty

thanks for translating into hornline vocab

no-more-ramen:

This is the first bread I ever baked. It’s pretty basic and the fun thing is you can substitute all kinds of things in it.

Prep time: ~10-15min

Bake time: 45 min at 350, 60 min at 325 (I always bake at 350)

Ingredients:

2 cups flour

1/4 sugar

1/2 teaspon salt

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup buttermilk (if you don’t have buttermilk you can add 1 tbsp of lemon juice/white vinegar to a cup of milk and let sit for ~5min. Ta da buttermilk!)

FUN PART: The original recipe calls for 1 cup currants and 3 tablespoons caraway seeds but I have substituted 1 tablespoon rosemary or 1 cup raisins and a tablespoon of cinnamon (to taste you might want more or less). You can go wild here. Pretty much any dried fruit or herb you’d want in bread will work.

Recipe:

Preheat oven to 350/325

Grease baking sheet (Want easy clean up? Put tin foil on first and then grease foil. You can throw out the foil when you’re done)

Mix dry ingredients in large mixing bowl

Mix in rosemary/currants/spices here

Add 1 cup buttermilk

Stir until it begins to ball up - dough will be very sticky this is okay

Use hands to knead dough into 6” round (you can cut a criss-cross on top but dough is sticky and will try to close up. Not really necessary)

Place on baking sheet

Bake for 45min/60 min or until it begins to brown on top

Cool and enjoy! This bread freezes really well so if you want to double the recipe and save a loaf for later it works great.

I tried making the thing! I think i could have baked it a bit longer… But I never made bread before so I’m extremely happy :D

omg!!! that looks fantastic! you are a baking superstar <33
